II - TRAVEL PREPARATIONS
THINGS TO DO BEFORE YOUR DEPARTURE

It is important that you confirm the surgery date by contacting our team no later than one week before the surgery date. If you do not come for the surgery on the day of the surgery without telling us one week in advance or furnishing a valid excuse, your surgery will be canceled permanently.

As you know, Bodrum is a popular holiday resort and touristic city. We recommend that you book in advance so that you do not have difficulties with accommodation, especially during the summer season due to hotel occupancy. Our team can help you on this.

If you arrive TWO DAYS before the surgery, it will be enough time for the examinations that need to be performed for the surgery.

For admission to our clinic, it is required for the patient and accompanying persons to have a HES (Hayat Eve Sığar – Life Fits into Home) Code and results of the PCR test obtained at the latest 48 hours prior.

Except for legal excuses, both parents must attend the surgery to sign the CONSENT FORM before the surgery as per the legal requirements and to assist us in patient care.
Tickets
It will be convenient for you to bring the medications that you use regularly, if any.
Make sure to take with you the necessary documents, such as the ID cards of the patient and accompanying persons, previous medical reports etc.
A few personal goods of your child such as one or two favorite toys, tablet, or iPad of your child, if any.

That day that you have been dreaming about for many years since your child was born is very close and you are preparing a trip for an ear construction, but you are feeling more stressed than ever, right? Smile, everything will be quite fine. We only ask you to make sure that your excitement and stress are not reflected negatively on your child.

We highly encourage families to do everything possible to stay healthy from Covid, colds, flu, RSV, etc. Take the patient out of school prior to surgery. Wear masks during travel. Practice good hygiene. Quarantine after PCR test and before surgery. If the patient is sick and cannot have surgery, this eliminates a surgical date and staff/OR that is prepared AND you will most likely need to return back home as we have NO available dates to reschedule you in the near future.
It is required that the child does not catch a cold or have fever or cough before the surgery. Otherwise, the surgery will be postponed. If there is such a situation, please inform us before your trip to our clinic. We can postpone the surgery to a later date, so that you do not get tired because of coming and going for nothing.
